MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2009 BOSTON, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- A Harvard professor said he will bring a cow to Harvard Yard in accordance with an almost 300-year-old university tradition, school officials said Sunday. The Boston Globe reported Harvard religion don Harvey Cox, who holds the Hollis Research professor of divinity chair, endowed in 1721, also holds grazing rights at Harvard Yard for any cows he might possess. If we can replace some of the Harvard faculty members with cows, the country might be much better off. MIAMI (Reuters) - Police in a Florida city used the promise of economic stimulus checks to lure 76 people to their arrest on a variety of outstanding warrants. The Fort Lauderdale Police Department set up "Operation Show Me the Money" to round up people wanted on charges ranging from second-degree murder to guns and drug charges to failure to pay child support. You see, you skeptical people, the stimulus is working.
